About Profits in Progress

The Profits in Progress vision is to connect people, communicate appreciation and change the world using handwritten notes. Handwritten notes are an excellent way to strengthen relationships and create good fortune.

Vanessa Lowry is owner and Chief Connection Officer of Profits in Progress. As a creative catalyst for innovative marketing and design solutions, her team helps businesses build and leverage relationships to increase revenues. A passion for connecting people has morphed into the Note-Working Success System^TM, a unique tool allowing businesses to easily integrate handwritten notes into their marketing strategies and connection solutions.

Vanessa's strong entrepreneurial spirit combined her passion for people with her expertise in marketing to expand her graphic design studio in 2001 to include Purple Snowflake Studios and then Profits in Progress in 2003. Today, clients include entrepreneurs, corporations and non-profit organizations.

Prior to Profits in Progress, Vanessa graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta with honors in 1983 and in 1986 became a partner of Phelan & Lowry, a creative marketing and advertising company. She started her graphic design studio, Lowry Vickers Design, in 1994.

Raised in the mountains of West Virginia, Vanessa moved south to build a life and a career. She continually expands and updates her business skills and stays on the cutting edge of graphics design expertise through seminars, conferences and strategic alliances. She also dedicates herself to maximizing her fitness through yoga and martial arts training. Most recently, Vanessa was awarded the rank of 2nd degree black belt in karate and purple belt in jiu jitsu. Her dedication, perseverance and commitment necessary for these personal achievements are also reflected in the services she provides to her clients. Profits in Progress is headquartered in Roswell, GA (in the Metro Atlanta area) and offers its services nationwide.
