Blogs Are a Hit
We have come full circle. Communication has gone from handwriting notes to typing letters to sending e-mails to blogging, and now we’re back again to the handwritten note. What is unusual gets noticed, and a handwritten note gets extra attention. In my periodic foray into the blogging world, I ran across blog entries I thought would pique your interest.
Thom Singer, who wrote the entry “Handwritten Notes Are Cool”. He also provides a free networking quotient quiz. I took the quiz and found that I’m branded as an Expert Networker. Take the quiz – I’m sure dozens of you will get the high honors, too.
Another blogger, Tim Wackel, talked about “Five Handwritten Notes You Should Be Sending Now”. And Lori Richardson wrote about the benefits of using our Note-Working Success System in her blog “ Summer Sales Effectiveness School – Keep in Contact With Handwritten Notes”.
Check out the blogs, then start Note-Working and stand out from the crowd!
It’s Not Email
Have you ever written an email and then accidentally sent it to the wrong person? Yikes! The good thing about mailing a note card is that your chance of making a silly mistake like that is slim to none. Writing a note card allows you to slow down enough to organize your thoughts, carefully plan the message and present the image you have worked so hard to project. So next time you reach out to someone, think twice about how you’ll send it. By sending a handwritten note to a client, vendor, coworker or prospect, you’re sure to bring your business in the forefront of their mind in a positive way.
